well, my good feeling about vlad was wrong....shane and brandi came over tonight for dinner and they told us that another family had already gotten him to adopt...so that is out of the question. brandi is really upset about it. but the good news is that he is going to become a part of a wonderful family that will love him and take good care of him. so we're happy for him. they are going to try adopt still, because they know that is what God wants them to do, but it will probably take a while to get over vlad. they are going over there in october on a mission trip to work with three different orphanages, and hopefully they will connect with one of the kids there.
