sorry guys, but i have to comment on it.
Death Note 37

wow. is all i can say. i found it very intense & fast paced. & i found myself really enjoying that part of it. i always felt the first arc of Death Note was always so slow, almost watered down? but this second arc just bitch slaps you in the face.
what was up with Mikami? i was so taken aback by him this episode. D: fugly~! i loved Raito's (that's right, RAITO. i have always refused to call him 'Lighto'.) final speech. he was so frantic. trying to pull something-anything- out of his bag of lies. Matsuda was wonderful for me. so gritty & so human. also there was some swimming lessons!! (if you know where to look.)
something i loved, but no one (that i have seen) liked, when Raito was having his panic attack he calls for Misa. which i found touching in someway? kinda like he finally came to the realization that he really DOES need her. :D *is still a Misa fan*
oh, & L's cameo? pure genius. after Raito runs all he can & finds some place to basically die, after running & thinking of the events that led him there. to back before he got the Death Note then finally looking up. & there he was. it was a great effect how they didn't show his face. but you did get Raito's reaction.
all in all, this was very EPIC. & in truth most of the time i had my hand over my mouth. in one of those, 'oh god, oh god. what are we going to do?' moments. i guess it really got to me you know? & hey, talks of a Special/Epilogue this summer. YAY!!
