Vacation plans, Jon Stewart, and chapter 15
First, thanks so much to everyone who took the time to wish Amanda and me well. (She says 'hi', and that she's making me finish chapter 15 this week while we're in North Carolina because she's tired of listening to me bitch about it. Apparently we're going on vacation, and I'm not allowed to take my CrackBerry.)
I also wanted to take a moment to say that if Jon Stewart runs for president, I'll not only vote for him, I'll go work for his campaign. American politics have gotten so ridiculous that he makes as much sense as anyone else out there. And I'm a professional. I went to college for this -- and still it's stupid and unbelievable. As of this moment, I'm thinking Stewart and Colbert in 2008. Slogan? 'At least they can't make it any worse.'
