Phedre was in the process of working out an arrangement of sorts with Madam, but the details were still being negotiated. In the meantime Phedre still lived in the Scarlett Room, took clients on the weekends and some nights, and took the train into New Tokyo during the week days where she was Pamela Dawson, makeup artist and Aaron Echolls' current fling.

She hadn't been sleeping a lot, what with her two "jobs" and the private research she'd been doing into the Siam murders. Not that she'd found out a lot so far. Her best lead had been a former client who was currently one of the dead med student's roommate's boyfriend. He wasn't terribly helpful, just used a lot of derogatory terms for lesbians and surmised that the girl's parents had found out that tidbit around the same time that they found out their daughter was dead.

Phedre wasn't a detective, she was a spy. And you can't get information out of anyone if no one knows anything.

Exhausted, she got off of the subway in Siam, the stop by the Chapterhouse, and walked to the Scarlett Room. There was no need for her to wear any sort of special disguise while on the movie set. People rarely recognized her from the Scarlett Room when she was wearing normal clothes. But she did pause just outside the door to put on some lipstick, and took her hair down from a ponytail and fluffed it out, just so Madam didn't make any comments about her appearance when she got there.
