It was pandemonium.

They'd found her around 10 pm. A garbage collector for the city stumbling upon the body in a dark alley, behind a restaurant that had been closed down months ago for health violations. Less than an hour later and it seemed like the whole Peacekeeper force was out on full alert. Laser crime markers blocked off the area. Reporters and curious onlookers crowded the streets, clogging traffic, stretching to get a look. A constant parade of peacekeepers, investigators and workers from the coroner's office moved under the barrier, walking carefully around the scene.

She was laid out in the shadows, arranged on her side, staring with unseeing, open eyes toward the mouth of the alley. Her hands were bound. Her cheek split. Pink hair mussed and covering half her face. Dark streaks of makeup running down bloated, sallow cheeks. Evidence was already being marked off. Splatters of blood. Partial prints.

Her shoe lay on the sidewalk, several yards away from the victim, already marked with an evidence flag.

She hadn't been moved. She wouldn't be until crime photos were completed.

It was going to be a long night.

[OOC: Gathering post for all your investigative needs. This is the crime scene for the Shara Young murder (spacewaste). All investigators should take a peek. Anyone else is welcome to mill around. Question suspects. Do what you will. Slowtimed as long as it needs to be.]
