where I start out feeling crappy and end up feeling accomplished. Went to work at 6am for a tournament, which meant I got off early. Stopped by Ford to pick up a part I have been needing to replace for some time now. Went to Walmart and tried to buy my Claritin. Apparently, you can only buy 20 pills per month thanks to the damn junkies making meth and what not. Unfortunately, since they only last 24 hours, that means that 10 days a month, I don't have the anti-allergy medicine that I need during allergy season. Ended up buying regular Claritin without the Sudophedrine...which is what made the other stuff work so well. Got home and started replacing the part in the engine when I realized that I needed a bigger wrench, which I didn't have, and a jack and some jack stands. Went to Walmart with Jamey and dropped $50 on stuff I probably should have anyways, but...after about 20min, the first part went in, no problems, went for a test drive and it works fine. In case you're wondering, it's the cruise control module brake switch, which (the same part number and everything) on the F-150s has been linked to starting fires in the engine bay causing the whole vehicle to go up in flames. There is a recall for F-150s, but not for Sport Tracs, even though it's the same f'n part number. So I had to dish out $45 of my own money for that, however I'm keeping my receipt, in case there is a recall, I can show them the receipt and hopefully get reimbursed. The next part I've been needing to do for a while is the Oil Pressure Sensor Switch, which, in the mornings, will cause my oil pressure gauge to show 0 until the engine gets warmed up; it's a litte unnerving, but hopefully that's taken care of cause it took about 1 1/2 hours to get that part in...I wish I had smaller hands sometimes.
Ferrets are coming along nicely in their house-breaking. I'm not going to bother trying to seal everything up, instead I'll just let them go wherever they want. I've got them a big litter box in the corner they've been going to the bathroom in. Hopefully that works out...we'll see...
