L'Auberge Indiana part 2
Greetings from Lafayette, IN! I'm typing this from a Panera since I can't get internet in the apartment until Tuesday. Until then the best way to contact me is via my cell. Hopefully phone service comes in Monday and internet comes in Tuesday.
I start my internship at Frito-Lay's plant on Monday. As always before I start a new job I get mad nervous, but I'll get through it. It should be at least interesting, a mashup of the Chicago Field Studies I did junior year of college and every manufacturing job I've had since summer 2003 (those were the days).
So I'm kinda close to Purdue campus. Next weekend I plan to head there to go record shop cruising, for every Big 10 school I have been to has at least one big record store. Michigan has Encore, MSU has Flat Black & Circular, Northwestern has Dr. Wax (moo!) etc.
Now to stock up my spice rack and my liquor cabinet. As I heard one of my MBA classmates say on the last day of finals:
"Win, lose or draw I'm getting loaded."
