Taste of Murray
Today was no normal Saturday. Oh no. Today, I got the chance to get paid to get free stuff at the RSEC! :) Granted, there was some work involved... but it was not hard, and I got off at 10pm, which to me, isn't too terribly late. I ended up walking away with all kinds of free stuff that I will be able to use during the semester. Lots of people are back in Murray now... it's pretty crazy seeing the town come alive when you have been here all summer and no one was around except the few who work here during the summer. Oddly enough, all of my housemates were here during the summer. But anyway, I got a nice deal on that free stuff oppurtunity today, so that was good.
School starts Wednesday and I am less than stoked about it. But, I guess I am ready to get another semester closer to walking across that stage. That will be a great day. It will probably also be pretty scary, being that I really don't know where I will end up after that. It could be anywhere... truly anywhere. But hey, whatever happens, that is cool and I am ready for it. All I know is, my practicum starts in a week or so and I am getting a little anxious/nervous. I just want to get a 4.0 this semester.... I want it more than I can put into words.
Lacey goes to school soon... I think my mom said she is leaving Thursday for Bowling Green with her friends. I will miss coming home once in a while and having her there... unless we are able to come home on the same weekends once in a while. I am very proud of who she has become though. She is strong and has a lot of individuality, which is key in this world.
Well, I guess I will quit blabbing. I hope everyone's semester starts the way it should... smooth, fun, and educational. Take care!!
