Finally! Ivan's former owner dropped him off last night after fighting traffic on I-76 and following my directions, somehow. He is HUGE! At least, compared to my sister's cat - he's got to be at least eighteen inches long, and a foot high at the shoulder. I'm getting a cat! After some weeks of trolling craigslist and one fall-through, I'll be getting a lovely, four-year-old Russian Blue tomorrow :) His name is Ivan, but I think I shall refer to him as "The Dude", as in "The Dude Abides". (Look, just go watch The Big Lebowski and you'll get it.)

I have a cat at home. My sister dropped off Ashley-cat to spend a week with me, while Rachel's in Florida. We'll see how this goes :) Ashley's somewhat neurotic, but it's like practice for when I get my own (hopefully friendly and non-peeing-on-everything) cat.
