Faith hadn't really realized how worked up she was until they pulled up to the manor later on that night. She realized that it might be considered tacky to pull up with a guy in tow to a place where your ex also resided, but it had been enough time in her mind that it shouldn't be Xander's place to say anything. And anyway, this just wasn't any 'guy.'

It was Gunn. When she first met him back in Los Angeles when Wesley broke her out of jail, she was already attracted to him. There was something about a regular dude who fought against demons and vampires that was so damn hot. Part of the reason she was attracted to Xander.

She grabbed Gunn's hand once he was out of the car and pulled him through the manor's foyer and up the stairs to her room. She pushed open the door and all but slammed it behind her as she turned with a grin.

"Get your clothes off," she told him as she pushed herself up against him and kissed him hard. "Wanna see the muscle under all this clothing..."

Gunn was plenty worked up as well. He was more than ready to get going with this and enjoy the night of fun. She almost jerked his arm out of socket when she pulled him into the manor and up the stairs to her room. Damn, girl wanted to get her freak on and quick, didn't she? That was kind of what he had heard about her, though. The girls around here were gossips, after all, and, while he usually didn't listen, that had caught his attention.

When she said to get his clothes off, he pulled his t-shirt over his head, tossing it to the side. "Turn about is fair play," he said to her with a grin on his face. He was wanting to see what was under those skimpy clothes that she liked to wear as well. He was definitely curious as to what she had going on. A mental picture can only explain so much, after all.

Faith pulled back to let him pull of his shirt and she grinned, wickedly. She wasn't disappointed in what she saw. This guy was all man. The pants would have to come off soon, too, but for now, it was an eye for an eye type game. He pulled off his shirt, she couldn't get hers off quick enough.

She tossed her jacket to the side and then slipped off her tank she wore underneath, revealing a still bra-clad, body underneath. Faith was NOT shy about her body, nor was she shy about knowing how rocking hot it was. With all the working out she did on a daily basis, it better damn well be!

"You like?" she purred before wrapping her arms around his neck. She kissed him again, backing them over to the bed. Then she pushed him lightly onto it, hopping up on it gracefully and straddling him.

Gunn was certainly not disappointed in what he saw on Faith, either. Sure, you could always kind of see what she had going on, due to her love of tanks, but damn if it didn't live up to the imagination of it from before! He grinned at her when he saw what she was bringing to the table as well. Gunn was very happy with what he had seen on her so far.

"I definitely like," he said, landing on the bed when she pushed him down. And damn if he wasn't enjoying having a take-action type of woman right now, as well. Sure, she was a Slayer, but she seemed like she would have been take charge even if she was an ordinary girl. But she wasn't, which added to her intrigue. He'd have been interested anyway, though.

He rested his hands on her hips after she straddled him. "You are amazingly gorgeous," he said to her. "You already know that, but you cannot have been told that enough, or as much as you should be told that." He sat up just a tad and kissed her again.

Faith grinned as he told her how gorgeous she looked then laughed when he said she already knew that. Part of her did, yes. But a large part of her understood that looks weren't all they were cracked up to be when it came to the soft chewy center. And in that, Faith was nowhere near being pretty. She had a hard life and there was a lot of guilt and regret in the more recent years.

She had been as ugly as they come.

She accepted the kiss and her hands began to roam around his bare back, feeling the ripples along his muscular back. She leaned them back on the bed and she began to devour him, it felt. She needed release - she needed this connection with another body...

... then there was that part of her that spoke that didn't want to make Gunn a one-night stand. It was part of her past, a past she hated when it reared its ugly head back.

She suddenly stopped and pulled back. "Wait, no, we can't do this," she murmured.

He was just really getting into it when she pulled back. Not that he would ever force himself on a woman who said no, but he knew better even extra because Faith could literally break him in half is she wanted. So, no meant no for sure. When she pulled back, he looked up at her confused. Not angry, just confused. Was it something he did? Something he said ( ... )

This was a little embarrassing, now that Faith was confronted with the inevitable question - WHY? She didn't really dismount him right away, but she did lean back as she stared down at the bed, rubbing her hands against her still on pants. She looked over at him, trying to hide her embarrassment. Faith didn't easily get embarrassed.

"No, nothin' you said," she assured him, putting her hand on his cheek almost tenderly. She smiled then finally slipped off. "I just... it ain't right, Gunn. I know ya', but barely. We both are in a downer of a place right now, and... for me, this ain't the way I need to be solvin' things." She sat on the bed. "Sorry. I didn't mean to rev you up then leave ya' in park."

Gunn actually wasn't aware that Faith *could* get embarrassed, but he definitely saw the slight flush in her cheeks, and, since they had only been kissing, he was pretty damn sure it wasn't from that. Wow, that was actually kind of a cute reaction to get from her. It was certainly something new and interesting to see from her, at any rate.

"Well, we can always get to know each other," Gunn said, siting up. "And I've had a lot of worse things happen to me than to be left in park," he joked with her. "I actually wouldn't mind getting to know you." He bent down and picked up his shirt and slipped it back on. "What I've seen so far I like, and I'm not just talking about your looks."

She glanced over at him when he said something about getting to know one another. Really? He really did want to get to know her? That was a good start, so far. She smiled. Man seemed to have a way with words. "Yeah, that'd be nice... gettin' to know you. Peel back all those layers of muscle, see the soft chewy center."

She gave him another smile as she stood up and reached down and grabbed her own shirt and slipped it back on. Turning to him, Faith studied him a moment. "Wanna go grab a cup of coffee? Guess we gotta start somewhere with this gettin' to know each other. Like, if you even like coffee..."

Was she really that surprised that someone would want to get to know her better? He might have to smack Xander upside his head if he was part of the cause of this. Of course, he didn't know much about her background pre-Sunnydale. Man shouldn't leave a woman thinking like that about herself. Maybe Xander needed a few lessons in how to treat a girl. He *had* heard about him leaving another girl at the alter, after all.

"Well, I've got a lot layers, and I bet you do, too," Gunn said to her with a grin. "I like the idea of getting to peel back a few of those layers over coffee as well." He chuckled a little at the last thing she said. "I don't know if I would survive this life if I didn't like coffee, Faith," he pointed out to her. Would any of them survive if they didn't like coffee? Probably not for long, anyway.

He stood up and offered his hand to her. "Shall we?"
