trudging towards an update
So I've made serious headway on the next chapter for Stardust (on the order of several thousand words), and I've also made some progress with the beginning of Berserk- not much in quantity, but I finally feel like it's getting some of the dread across, so that's very yay.
With Stardust I'm at the point where I can't honestly tell if the rest will take me two hours, two days, or two weeks -although seeing how I'm on vacation I don't think it'll be two weeks-. Does that get better? Does it ever become easier to judge how much work you have left to do, surprises notwithstanding?
I just want to post- why the hell do I need to make my chapters that long? And why the hell am I so intent on writing explicit sex?
Actually any sort of description of things physically happening is tricky for me. Sex scenes just stand out because that's the only kind of "action" I attempt, I think.
