By flagging in the rain, w/o sufficient layers to stay warm. I froze, for the four hours that I was out there this morning. Other than my temperature, it was ok. Not intellectually stimulating, but all right, and rather compulsively satisfying. And it is gainful employment. But it was so bloody cold!

It's always nice to get a check for working. Since I only get paid once a month, it becomes extra special. The real surprise was receiving a dollar from this fellow that I've been donating my extra paper to. That was sweet of him, to pay me for what amounts to a free paper. Yep, I got to go around delivering papers, some of which had reminders to people that they needed to pay for their paper, usually that their pay-by-mail registration expired, and would they please pay again. I'm excited. I found more possible jobs in the paper, some of which pay well, and am hoping that one of them will hire me. We shall see, won't we?

I got online to look for jobs, ran a search, and got seventy-some odd possibilities. Not a single one attracted me. None. Just about all of them were asking for experience, of which I have none, and the few that weren't are unsuited to me - I am not designed for sales.
