So.  I'm home today with a little recurrence of migraine headache, thanks to the dentist appointments yesterday and Monday.  They banged on my teeth a lot, and though the actual tooth nerves are now gone, the outer nerves are still alive and well, and the one tooth has shoved its roots well into my sinus cavity, so hello, referred pain.  Thankfully ( Read more... )

I had three hour root canal procedure done yesterday on two teeth, one of which was my wisdom tooth all the way in the back (all my wisdom teeth grew in perfectly straight, so I never had them removed).  I have a small mouth, so not only is my jaw mad sore, I actually slightly split the corner of my mouth slightly on that side.  I hurt all over.  ( Read more... )

So, we didn't go to the farm.  I spent Saturday working on jewelry for thatpotteryguy  to sell at Pennsic (I'll be providing jewelry and, I think, lacing long enough to turn into sets of points, if I can get around to braiding enough to be worth selling), and making a scrapbook for pinkleader , who also invited us over for extremely yummy steaks and good company.  Sunday ( Read more... )

One of the things I am a-feared of in winter happened this morning - I slipped on invisible ice (I was looking at the ground, and it was identical to everything else!) and hit my hands.  Fortunately, I twisted, and took most of the weight on my hip (which is why I'm able to type this)*, but I gave both hands a right smack.

In a complete switch of topic, I have just made an appointment with my doctor, since my hair keeps falling out.

This started when I started taking Lyrica. A quick perusal of the side effects noted in studies of Lyrica shows that an infrequent, but not rare, side effect is alopecia.
