Good times, but busy.

Busy, busy, busy.  When am I ever not?

I'm writing for work, so writing here is, unfortunately, taking second place.  I have had a hundred subjects roaming through my head, and no energy to write about them.

See?  Now I'm just teasing y'all with the prospect of actual content.  It's coming, I promise.

This weekend, I'm going to be helping sell stuff for Gardiner's Company at Night on the Town - I've been throwing boxes of stuff together, and have about six boxes of various used and new items for sale at bargain prices, plus a couple of very special, unique necklaces I've made specially to raise money for Gardiner's.  We're renting some heavy equipment to landscape part of our land into a fighting area (with berm for fighting behind/over - fun!), and there's the costs for Pennsic.

This Pennsic is the 20th anniversary of Gardiner's Company - I'm thinking big party.  Bob and I are throwing entertainment ideas back and forth.  In that vein, if you're going to be at Pennsic, and you've ever been interested, part of, or a member of Gardiner's, we want y'all to stop by and say hello.  I'll post updates on party plans and such as Pennsic gets closer.  Everyone is invited.

I can't believe it's been 20 years.  Similarly, Sunday is Bob n' me's 16th anniversary of moving in together, and it seems like yesterday and/or a lifetime, depending on how I'm looking at it.  Yesterday in that being with him is as fresh and exciting as ever, and a lifetime in that my life changed so completely when I met him that everything that came before seems like it happened to a different person.

A less happy person.

I'm a natural optimist, but a lot of that got suppressed by depression, anger and bitterness, and Bob brought it out in me again.  Everything we do together just has a way of always working out to our best advantage.  We are each others' good luck charm.  Can't ask for much more than that, eh?

Love you, baby.

love, state of the me, bob
