New job etc
Well life continues - new job at the College was a bit strange at first - I really thought I had made a big mistake - but I am bit more relaxed about it now. I just need to sort out how I only do 2.5 days a week - And how I get everyone I work with to undersatnd that that is what I am paid to do.
Other work is OK except the Youth Consultation - which seems to be very slow in getting any funding and I am not sure how much more I can do without it - I will try to get them to apply to somewhere else
I have sorted out some of my finances and got a mortgage to pay for the house fixing up - it is going to be too expensive to do just on what I earn in little drips. I have also bought a new car which Amy calls a 'pimpmobile' on account of being silver and with dark windows - but it is still shaped like a Postman Pat van ! So I am having decorators finish the kitchen - a real luxury and then I will get the hall floor completed and the cupboards done in the cloakroom and so work my way through the house
The plan is to have the outside rendered and internal plastering done before winter - but I fear that time is getting short
