I am woman. Hear me roar!
My steam-driven old laptop finally gave up the ghost earlier, so rather than doing all the lazy things I had planned for today I went to Man Land (aka PC World) and purchased myself a new laptop.
I am inordinately proud of this because:
- I chose it myself without getting baffled by sales assistant speak
- I resisted all attempts to be sold additional things I didn't need
- I have got the thing working and hooked up to my wireless network on my own
- I have done all the responsible things like switiching on Norton and installing spybot
- It is silver and shiny and lovely :)
I know, I know, this isn't really a matter of great note, but I am usually held to be entirely IT illiterate. Humour me :)
