Just a quick one...
A few random things...
I've noticed that when I'm alone, I focus more on myself. Ha ha, sounds dumb out loud. But no! I mean that I've worked more on myself in the last few weeks than I have all fall. Tonight is the third night in a row practicing a song on my guitar. It is quite possibly the third time I've picked up my guitar this year. I have to force myself to think, but every night I get a bit better. I guess that's how it's meant to work, non?
I'm going skiing tomorrow with my brother and my father. It's the first time my dad's been able to leave my mom's side since badness ensued in September. This is progress. I told my mom that she has to fight her depression because I need to know that if I'm in her shoes some day, I can do it too. This was months ago, but seems to have helped.
My brother returns to college on Saturday. I Love him, even if we don't always have a lot to say to one another. Not that I've been very agreeable or difficult to agitate these past weeks. But we always get along well when we do things, like traveling, together.
Apparently people thought he was me when he was over visiting last week.
After nearly killing my boss for getting up in my shit on Friday, I seemed to have turned a corner in expressing my mind with him. Maybe it's because I've been very aggressive since December. Either way, sometimes that's good. This week has been me sticking up for my coworker and assistant in meetings, pushing forward with my own agenda for my job, and getting things done that I feel are important.
My car is sick. Bleeding oily blood, really. We're taking her in on Monday to get it checked out, and figuring out if I need to think about a new one. I want a 2006 RSX. That's an Acura, and it's pretty.
In other news, the Greeks have surged through Kyoto. That's in Japan.
