Right, well, I couldn't update last night after Euroision because my dad shut down ;) And i only just woke up... 10.40am... lol =D
We came 25th (out of 26) with 4 votes. UK got 0, most likely because of the war stuff. It really annoys me that they all vote politically. Not because we don't get any votes, but because the Eurovision is meant to be a fun thing, but they all turn it into a political thing. Grrr.
Turkey won, Belgium came second, and Russia third. HA! The Turley song, in MY opinion, was crappy. And the fact that t.A.T.u, being "professionals" lost to them, will probably be a major embarrassment :P Especially after all the "we will blow everyone away" business.
Some of the songs were good... the German one was laughable. =D I suppose that even if the countries did vote un-politically, UK wouldn't have got many votes... but i think we would have. Our song wasn't as bad as I remember it being when I heard it on the radio. I really do feel sorry for Lynn. This whole time, she hasn't had that much support, and then to come second to last, only beating the UK because it had 0, must be very depressing for her. Especially after Ira came second last year.
Oh well. I have to study all my french culture today. Big whoop. I know nothing in french, so if anybody cares to teach me, go ahead ;)
