Oh What a Night.
So I went in to work today, filled some salt and pepper shakers with Duncan, and then they told me that I could go home if I wanted to..and since I value leisure over labor...(haha what an economics nerd)..I said ALRIGHT! :) ...So Ryn and I got together and went down to the Oyster Bar for dinner..which was absolutely delicious...and I love that place..I'm so proud to work there..it's awesome..Anyways..So we had fun hanging out there for a while and took a walk down by the marina...
So time for Ryn to go home comes along..and after he and I had hung out at my house for a while..I took him...I was turning onto the street that runs in between CVS and Walgreens up by the high school..and I'm facing this cop who's in the turn lane opposite of me..so I take my turn with the green arrow..and he totally turns the wrong way and starts following me...so I'm thinking...Okay..I didnt do anything wrong? I'm not speeding?....and the cop flashes his lights...Here we are ladies and gentlemen, at the first time mary has ever been pulled over for anything...so this cop walks up to my window with his flashlight..and tells me my headlight is out...so he wants to show me so I get out of my car and of course, am very embarrassed that I'm in my pajamas...but I look..so then he asks me for the whole license and registration deal..and I get my insurance out..and try to get my license out of my wallet...but it takes me like...5 days..so I'm struggling..so he asks for Ryn's license..(is that allowed???)...and finally I get mine out..he takes it back to his car..writes me out a warning ticket..and I'm on my way...I swear though, I just changed the headlight like a month ago..my car is sooo stupid..
The funniest part is..I gave Ryn a huge zuchinni from my garden to take home before we left...sooo imagine a cop walking up to my car...shining a flashlight in..and seeing me in my pajamas and PIGTAILS...and Ryn in a suit and tie..with a huge zuchinni between his legs......hahahhahahahahah that's definitely what the cop saw tonight...
The officer was fairly new...and actually pretty hot..ow ow ow...Officer Henrichson was his name..He was obviously new because he had nothing better to do tonight than to pull me over for a headlight out...and because he took Ryn's license too..He was really nice though....I always thought that I 'd cry or something the first time I got pulled over..but this was actually just pretty funny..so watch out for those headlights, kids..they'll get ya every time..
