Finally feeling summer.
Today was fun..
So Ryn was supposed to give blood today..so I went to his house, picked him up, and headed out to the KC hall to the blood drive..we showed up..and turns out that even though Ryn has donated before, has a donor card and everything, and is a month or so away from his 17th birthday, he can't donate..he's too young...without a parental consent form...so we took the form..and thought, well..maybe next time..because there was no way we'd be able to get it filled out and him back in time before the blood drive ended....darn..try to do some good for this world, and it just never works. Bah humbug!
So Ryn and I went back to his house so he could call his mom/drop off the parental consent form..and David ended up calling us to see if we wanted to hang out/swim tonight..so Ryn grabbed his swimming trunks ..and he and I went out to Sol Azteca...mmmm mexican food...and went back to my house..he then worked on his correspondence course and I worked on my Economics (took a test..gosh, I need to get it all over with!)..and before we knew it, we were swimming with Molly and David in the lake...ordered pizza...took a walk...got confronted by the neighbors?? (What? Do i exist in Westlake? nobody seems to know who i am..lol)...and sat on the porch...It was a good time..
Tomorrow I dont have to work because Karli took my hours..so I'm hoping that Ryn and I can head out to Panache to hear some jazz, play some cards, and drink lots of coffee..and visit Cassie. ..but the morning will consist of me working on a paper for Econ..ack...
I think I'm actually living the summer life though...Glad I'm finally in the swing of things mid-july....
