Trying to get back in the swing of things...
Wow..so it seems I write in here very seldom any more..but here I am...This last weekend didn't even feel like a weekend..after my grandma's funeral, it was finally the weekend..and I ended up getting up early every morning for either band rehearsal or mass...and had other obligations to carry out like my band concert and TEC stuff...that I only got to see Ryn for a couple hours on Saturday night..and well, the rest of it was me running around Peoria for various reasons.....oye vey.
So it's Monday night..and I'm stressing out about all of the stuff I have to do this week already..oye vey. This morning I found myself remembering about my music theory homework in chemistry class, the hour before...so I spent my time doing my homework instead of paying attention..then went to theory class and keyboarding..but keyboarding was okay because mrs. k let me sit at her keyboard and find a drum beat for my solo song..goooood stuff. Then, I proceeded to go get some Bosco sticks..(holy shit, the best things ever!!)...and sat in the music lounge until BIO lab..where we talked about endangered species and did NOTHING...YES!....then I went to recital lab and listened to Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring"..(except I was really tired..I kept on closing my eyes and nodding off..but Heinemann had it turned up so loud that I would wake up startled by certain parts of the piece...lol..it was quite humorous, actually..)..and since the piece is about a human sacrifice, imagine! Then I had band..and we got out at 5:30..so that was sweet..we've got another concert tomorrow with the high school kiddos..should be interesting to see all of them running around campus tomorrow..eeeep.
Just trying to get back to the old schedule....right before Thanksgiving break hits....mmm turkey....gobble gobble..
obviously, it's time for me to go! haaa....bye!
