Oddity
Somebody called me tonight as I was out in Banff watching a movie. I did not recognize the number so curious that I am, I try to figure out who it was. It was a number based in the state of New York. Our phone company up here only provides the state's name when receiving calls from the US so it's hardly helpful. The number itself I didn't recognize either.
A simple area and prefix code look up pinpoint this number to be in New York City, either the Bronx or Queens area. The number itself isn't to be found via any reverse look up or through a Google query. It's either unlisted or maybe a cell phone.
I'm insanely curious to figure out who it is. I could call the number back but it's 3AM there right now. I don't know anybody in NYC. It likely will end up being the case where said person dailed the wrong number and thus didn't leave a message.
It's the little mysteries that drive me nuts.
