Day 60, afternoon; Infirmary & nearby quarters; Attn: Carson, Evan [F]
John paused outside Carson's office, going over his mental checklist-- cake, check; something a little special for dinner, check; gift, check. That left getting Evan out of the isolation room for a couple hours as the last item on the list. And for that, John needed to wheedle either Carson or Heightmeyer. He was going for Carson, since the man seemed to be a bit of a romantic and already knew about Evan and John. John knocked, then stuck his head around the door.
"Hey, Doc, got a minute?"
