John left breakfast, collecting a sandwich, a bottle of water, and filling a thermos with coffee as he went, and headed for the brig.
The guards had done as instructed and kept their prisoners awake. John killed the power to the cell the human prisoner was in and unlocked it, going inside.
"Here." He thrust the sandwich and the water bottle into her hands and then headed out of the cell, locking it and turning the power back on.
He found a place against the wall and settled onto the floor, legs stretched out, wincing as he felt how creaky his joints were now. He remembered he and Rodney had planned to go running yesterday morning before they'd seen the life signs. He'd have to see if McKay was up for an evening run. Maybe it'd help him sleep.
"I'm taking a nap now and then we'll talk." He looked at the guards. "You know what to do."
He closed his eyes, letting his exhaustion take him.
