Kate awoke helt tightly in Adam's arms. She had called him over the night before, not wanting to be alone that night. Eventually they had laid down together and she fell asleep with him. It was strangely comfortable, she liked falling asleep and waking up with another person.

Kate read over Harry's email Kate stopped a moment. Old Weir? Oh, right someone had mentioned it the other day, they had found an old Dr. Weir in the city. ( And now, she had died. )

Kate stopped by the infirmary after writing a prescription for Radek. She had decided to write it for several days' worth of pills, just in case. That way if he needed it again it would be easier to get them to him, she could get them from her office rather than have to go back to the infirmary ( Read more... )

A nap and a visit with Adam had done wonders for Kate's mindset. She settled into her office early and made sure to get some files out for further review. There would be plenty of time after Radek left to go through them, now was the time to update his file with what had happened this morning.

Adam woke up blearily. His arm was numb and there was hair in his mouth. He blew out hard to remove it and ended up having to swipe the stray hairs out with his free hand, which then discovered Kate's head on his chest.

Kate managed to walk calmly down to the linguistics department. "Excuse me, Dr. Anderson, can I speak with you in private for a few minutes?" Inside she was seething, but Kate had vowed long ago to treat people how she would like to be treated. Until they deserved otherwise. But they had to REALLY deserve it to be treated differently.

Radek had been in a bad mood since his conversation with Miles the night before, and it wasn't getting better.  Even last night's visit from Teyla, as sweet as she was, had only proven a temporary distraction.  He was hurt and angry and dealing with other people wasn't helping his mood any.
