The Brits at the castle have decided to throw a fireworks party--for Bonfire Night, apparently some big celebration back home. But the Dragon is going out for *her* bonfire on Saturday, so we're having ours tomorrow, Friday 4th

Harlequin speaking. (Am not checking my own lj for the duration of Samhain. So am borrowing HERS). Will try to come - would love to but it depends on the computer from hell, which has hallowe'en gremlins in its bowels and may or may not behave. If I manage it, I'll appear as Moth or something similar - trillian won't, so far, let me load my own name. Thanks for the invitation anyway.
Great, would love to see you there--sorry for the delay, we've been keeping Fledge busy ;-) Good luck with the computer, I hope you can get it working. Maybe you could talk to Giles and Willow about spelling it..?
Spells tend not to last on man-made objects. Though my mobile phone is fine - mind you, I only really spelled the financial part of the deal and who am I to care if the service providers find some dead leaves in their bank from time to time!! They'll never trace them.
Yeah--I meant, asking where this whole "I want to see unicorns" thing comes from. It's a bit of a surprise... Rodney doesn't normally seem the type (no offense).
Unicorns possess an ancient and deep magic. They enchant those they wish to enchant. The victim has no say in the matter. I doubt if Rodney will know where his interest comes from - though his conscious mind might try to find prosaic explanations. Rather, ask the unicorns where the 'Rodney thing' comes from. You might be very surprised at the answer!
Hmmm. I see. Actually I do have a theory... but I'm not saying anything where he might see it. I am NOT getting into an argument over the psychology of unicorns with him *G*
Thanks--she is beautiful. I don't know what Simon had (sugar?) but maybe I could get some for Rodney to feed her, then she'd be suitably impressed *G* He always acts like a cranky cynic but deep down inside, he is terribly vulnerable to rejection. I don't think I scored many points by having her come up to me first ;-)
Never having had a power bar I wouldn't know. So long as it's vegetarian and sweet, I imagine it would be OK. Plain sugar or honey is best. But honey is veryvery sticky so we usually make it into fudge or toffee and just give them little balls of it.

Thanks for coming to the party, I hope you had a good time. I'm going to have to ask Rodney more about these unicorns..!

I've been trying to teach Rodney that game...
I'll tell him. He says thank her for the bracelet, by the way. He doesn't take it off, but he gets very testy if anyone asks him about it.
Would unicorns like power bars..? They have fruit in them...
