(no subject)
This was definitely a very busy weekend, but fun! :)
Friday, me, Brandon, & my parents ate at Asiano's for dinner and then went to see The Da Vinci Code, which was good, but I was sort of bored because I just finished reading the book the day before.
Saturday, I went shopping with Patty and Brandon's cousin Holly, who's 14. We went to several yard sales and I got a bouncy seat thing and some sort of arch that you attach to a car seat with rattles, etc. hanging down from it, all for 3 bucks. Not bad! We ate lunch at El Rey's, which was really good. While I was gone, Brandon took my car up to the tire shop for new brakes. It's like a different car now! So smooth.
Katrina came over Saturday night after I got home, and we went out to eat and then just hung around the house talking for a few hours. I gave her her birthday gift. Her birthday was actually May 8th, but this was the first time I'd seen her since then.
Sunday, we went to the Renaissance Festival. I had a blast, although I would've enjoyed it more if I could have ridden some stuff. Brandon had to buy this occarina that cost $45, just because it looks like the one in Zelda games. I gave him hell about that all day. lol! The funniest part is that I can already play it and he has trouble with it, but I guess that's because I played flute for 7 years in school.
When we got home from that, I finally watched the season finale of ER, and DAMN IT!! How can they end the season that way?? It's gonna be tough waiting till next season to see what happens, and tomorrow night is the House finale, which will probably be the same way.
Last week at my Dr.'s appt., the baby's heartrate was 150. We made my appt. for an ultrasound on June 9th, and I'm hoping to find out whether it's a boy or girl. I can't wait! I'm taking Brandon with me for the first time that day. Next Saturday, we're going to start working on the nursery. It's beginning to get exciting, and I've definitely started to show. :D
I can't believe it's been over 2 weeks since I updated, but I just never have anything exciting to write about. My life is basically work and...television, as sad as that is. Haha!
