House
Well, things are definitely looking up as far as the new home is concerned. The only thing is is that we have had homeowners' insurance on the house for a couple of weeks now and are wanting to try and move in early, but the sellers say no because they don't want to be held liable. How the devil can they be held liable when we have our own insurance on the house?
Add to that they say that if we move in early before closing (hopefully on the 28th) they would charge us $17/day rent? What!?!?!? Waitaminute! We are paying for insurance and not living in the house so THEY should be paying US! Geez!

Well, hopefully the new PC 300 GL ii will be in in a few days so that I can put Linux on that and set that up as our backup DNS and mail server. It's a shame that the IBM Aptiva e26 I paid $30.00 for had to die the way it did.

Got some communication from a most excellet mousey in Ontario this evening :) It's always a pleasure to get something from Wolfrey when he writes, chats, emails, etc. Especially since they are so rare. :) But, he has a life, too, so I totally understand. As long as we don't ever lose touch, I am a happy wolf! :)
You know, I'm going to make a quick statement here and get offa my soapbox. I've finally come to the realization that YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID! Seriously. I mean, let's face it, if one could then I would not have a job in technical support, now would I? :)
Anyway, I had better be off this thing now. To my love at home - if you are reading this, I love you very much.
