Another Rare Posting...
Well, looks like I am making yet another one of my rare postings.
It looks like the code I spent a good number of hours agonizing over for work (about 3500+ lines worth) was all for nothing. So, understandable, I am quite pissed. But oh well, it looks like they paid me for my time and energy, so it's on to the next project that I can only HOPE that they use.
Have been talking to a couple of really awesome furs on Y!IM and AIM, Perro and Wolphy. They seem like a really awesome couple, not to mention really, really cute ;) But hey, I didn't say that, now did I? :) Just sucks that my mate and I may never get a chance to meet them what with the distance and all. It's so rare these days to meet any "real," down-to-earth people these days like our Tigey and Masters Wolger and Peyote.
Things with the new home are going so-so. The government is being a real PITA about things as far as the FHA thing is concerned, but my mate and I are confident we will get things worked out, even if it means pushing the closing date further away than was planned.
Work between Roswell and Adelphia is going well. Still waiting to hear when the closing date of the sale with Time Warner will be so that I can take part in the onboarding process to move over to being a Time-Warner Cable/RoadRunner employee.

Well, our (my?) internal secondary DNS server died an honorable death last week (no, it wasn't running Windoze, it was running Linux as all my network-intensive service providers run) so my webhosting provider was gracious enough to offer his old PII that his wife was going to ditch to rescue it. It's only missing a hard drive, but I have one available that I can install. Good news is that my primary DNS server (which also doubles as my Citadel/news/SSH server) is still up and running. Yay for Sun! :)
