You know, I totally didn't even think of the ice thing *laughing* It just seems to me that sorceress power is hot and vibrant and rushing and ALIVE, and ice to me is the opposite of those things, so that's why I went with it.

I like your reasoning better XD It makes it sound intentional!

Hahaha! There was a line in there that just reminded me of her Limit Break (and of course, after re-reading, I can't remember which it was XD). I thought it was a fitting analogy for her using ice to break free of ice.

I should've gotten around to this earlier. I think the beginning run-on sentence doesn't quite work to effect, but this is very good. You do well to use the theme of ice, although the "ice burning" (which is totally possible and I completely understand what you mean) might be reworded. Still, you do an excellent job conveying just what this grounding feeling might be like, and I like your interpretation of her motive. I'm fond of this.
