Javi, Iker & Ander @ Punto Pelota

Today Jennifer on Twitter linked me to this video and I'm really grateful she thought of me because it's one of the most brilliant videos I've ever seen. I died laughing repeatedly. And I also felt very proud at the end when the entire "Punto Pelota" team agreed that Athletic are awesome. :D

Irene: But who has the most followers on Twitter? How many followers do you have?

Iker: I have 115,000; Javi has like twenty or thirty thousand, and Ander has twenty thousand. You can have my extra ones.

Irene: Thanks, man!

Ander: That’s what happens when you have no social life and you spend all day hooked on Twitter.

Javi: Everything he does, he tweets.

Irene: Have you stopped studying journalism?

Ander: I’ve taken a break (literally “parked it”), I haven’t stopped. Don’t say that or my mother’s going to get mad!

Irene: But how long have you been taking a break for?

Javi: Journalism, social studies, psychology...

Ander: I took a break about... almost two-and-a-half years ago now, but I want to start back up again, you know? With this whole thing, coming to Bilbao, getting acclimated...

Javi: Yeah, that’s the excuse I used, and I’ve been getting acclimated here for six years now!

Irene: What would be the perfect question to ask Javi?

Ander: I’d ask Javi... why he has style, you know? Style, today he’s gone for a little bit of a hipster style, but the rest is good, really good.

Javi: He’s one to talk about style! He looks like he’s 60 years old, the way he dresses.

Irene: And what would you ask Iker?

Ander: I’d ask Iker...

Javi: I’ll answer that one! Iker, what would you do in order to be normal?

(I should add, in defense of Javi and Ander, that they actually have 70,000 and 60,000 followers, respectively. Iker's just being a brat! XD)

I LOVE HOW THEY KEEP TEASING EACH OTHER!! The bit where Iker says the price tag has gone to Ander's head, or Ander's comment on Javi's clothes, and Javi asking Iker what he'd do to be normal - AHAHAHA! XD

The teasing - it is, as they say in Spanish, just true buen rollo. (Like the "banda de los paticortos" moment. Still one of my personal highlights.) They act like normal guys their age, and it is ridiculously endearing. <3 them so much!
