Well, I have no internet at home right now. The computer errored, and I can't get online until I have Geek Squad out to fix it. Damn it.
It's been too cold to work horses recently, so no new updates there. Found a two year old gray filly that I really like. Hopefully they have a video of her. She has no work done with her so far, but I bet she'd work out as a gaited horse. Her pedigree points to it... Grand dam is the dam of Unattached, Finally Attached, Attached, and Moet, grand sire is the Mean Machine, who was himself gaited, did pretty well, and has produced some nice gaited horses. The sire is lightly used, but by Stonewall's Diamond Jackpot. All I've honestly seen of the sire is a picture. He seems pretty necky. That's the biggest gamble... the sire's side, being the dam's is packed with quality. The lady who has her is another small time breeder who needs to cut back. She's from roughly the same area that Tanza came from. I really shouldn't be looking at more horses.. I'm supposed to be selling some and buying a gaited horse, but I really like this one, and I always enjoy a good project. Besides, if it turns out like its' pedigree says it should, I'd have my gaited horse, just a little later than expected, and I do love a good deal. The filly seems awfully pretty, and is correct in her build, and I'm a sucker for grays. The most the lady has done with the foals has been to show the babies in weanling classes, and they've all done pretty well. We'll have to see what comes of this...
