I successfully got myself and Mari out to Western Mass, and it turns out to be have been a good plan to put her in the carrier as I was loading stuff into the car before taking her down since she had an accident while we were still at the apartment so I was able to clean it up and not have to deal with the smell for an hour and a half of driving. I just remembered why when I sleep I either take Mari in the room with me or keep the door open slightly so she can go in and out, since when I was taking a nap a little bit ago I'd shut the door and she was outside, and she proceeded to cry until I let her in. She doesn't seem to like not being able to be in the same room with me.

I realized yesterday that I had less cat food than I thought I did, so I figured I'd go to the hardware store where I usually get it after work. The only problem is that when I went by there I saw a sign that says they're on vacation and closed until Tuesday, and I only have enough until around Sunday night ( Read more... )

So I made it back to Western Mass mostly in one piece. Except for my phone, which wound up falling into the bus toilet. I wish I was kidding. But I had actually been considering getting a new one, and my dad kindly helped me out. So now I have an Android and am playing with all the toys in it.
