So DOMA is dead and Prop 8 effectively is too.
Hard to believe it's been 5 years since Prop 8 passed and even longer since DOMA was signed into law. But now they're both gone.
I am happy about it but the day has been an emotional roller coaster since I went from sick to my stomach this morning with anticipation, then jubilant when I heard the result, and I've been flipping back and forth between joy at it and being pissed off at the idiots shooting their mouths off about it who really sound like petulant children.
