Short of something unexpected happening I think I'm now on track to getting a new apartment. I'll be paying the rent but I am getting help for the first/last/security since my tax refund was supposed to help with that until my car broke down. I submitted the application materials a few minutes ago so now it's just the waiting game.

I think I'm probably in the clear but mentally I try not to put all my eggs in one basket.
