It's only 8pm, but I'm already in my pajamas since today was very long and I am tired!
The trip down to Marlborough went off without incident, the ZipCar unlocked all right, I used my phone GPS to give me verbal directions after I plugged it into the AUX cord and I got there with plenty of time, and I think the interview, while short, went pretty well. We'll have to see. Afterwards I went to a Penny's that's near there and bought a pair of pants in a skirt in red, since I was looking at my wardrobe yesterday and realized that my pants are virtually all black, brown or grey, and I want some color. And since it was Penny's they weren't too expensive.
On the way back I hit a bit of traffic in the city proper, but luckily I'd reserved the car for an hour more than I thought I needed to be safe. That was a good plan. It was kind of comical when my cell phone then went off and it was a guy from another staffing group, so I had it on speaker on my lap while I was trying to navigate gridlock. Aye aye aye. I have a strict "no holding cellphone to text while driving" policy from even before the law kicked in, but just talking via speaker is okay in my book even if it's not ideal.
I also released a bit of my inner Masshole on the highway, and for some reason the first insult to come to mind whenever another driver does something stupid is "fuckhead." I'm not entirely sure where I got that, though my dad suggested that maybe it was from him.
