It Burns! It Burns!
Some people might have heard about the crazy brush fires we've been having down in Sunny Southern California. Most of the fires that have occurred in the past week have been in the local mountains that are about 50 miles or so from where I live, so the smokey air has been pretty bad. Yesterday, I woke up to a brown haze in the sky.
But after seeing the fires on the news for days, it doesn't actually hit you that some part of the city is burning until you walk out your front door and can actually see the flames on the mountains with your naked eye.
