Don't Punch the Robot!

I just think that title would make a great icon.

Since I’ve been sick, I haven’t been going to the gym so that leaves me about seven extra hours to catch up on my TV watching which is just piling up. Though with the cancellation of a bunch of shows that I follow I think I will eventually catch up on them in this decade. So far I’m caught up with:

Supernatural - I don’t know how I feel about the show’s direction now, I love Castiel, but I personally think it’s time for the show to wrap things up before I stop caring.

Castle - I love this show. I’m glad it got picked up for another season. The writing is great and the chemistry between Castle and Beckett is great. I also love Castle’s relationship with his daughter. Also maybe I’m weird, but I love how they open the episode with a murder scene and make it look beautiful. I know “murder” and “beautiful” should never been in the same sentence, but that’s the sense I get whenever I see the episodes. I know I sound completely morbid…

House - I know I saw the finale, but I can’t remember what happened. blowersgate is going to kill me for saying that.

Pushing Daisies - I’m sad that this show is gone. The ending was there, but it was rushed into a space of five minutes, and I don’t feel it got the ending it deserved. They should make a movie or something because five minutes is just not enough. At least Wonderfalls at an ending that satisfied me to an extent. Dead Like Me got a movie. Though I wished they got the same actress for Daisy, the different actress distracted me so much in the movie. I know they said something about PD continuing in comics, but that’s just not the same.

Mad Men - Finally saw both seasons of Mad Men, great show, definitely recommend it, but I have this problem of constantly thinking Pasadena, California when I see the show, especially the Draper’s house, since I know where that house they film those scenes is located. I used to drive by it all the time and I remember them filming the pilot eons ago before I even knew the show existed.

South Park - It took me about three months to watch the all 13 seasons of South Park since the whole series is available on southparkstudios.com. So now I am all caught up until the hiatus. All I have to say is I love Butters and Craig and Tweek and Ike and… pretty much, I love them all, and I love to hate Cartman, but it never fails to crack me up when they cry.

Harper’s Island - I did not plan to get addicted to this show, but I did. I only started watching this show because Christopher Gorham is in it. Then I got hooked because JC Thomason is gorgeous. Also I’m a sucker for good thrillers with murders galore. Story is not great but interesting enough. Murders definitely fall in the gory category. Another thing that appealed to me is that it is only 13 episodes and ends at 13 episodes. Hopefully, CBS keeps their promise and airs all 13 episodes. So far I caught up with the show on the CBS site. Episodes one through seven are up for those who are interested in checking it out.

Samantha Who? - So that’s it for Sam Who? Really? I thought it was doing decently in ratings. Oh well, I guess bye bye Barry Watson, I hardly knew how hot you were until this show.

Chuck - I still love this show. I love Adam Baldwin. I’m glad they get another season.

Bones - Bones is Bones. I still find it fun to watch though if they pick an assistant I would go with Wendell because he is cute makes the best WTF faces, but Nigel Murray also amuses me with his constant need to spout useless facts.

Cupid - I think there are still one more episode left? This isn’t the same as the 1997 Cupid. Sorry. I can’t let it go. Jeremy Piven and Paula Marshall had incredible chemistry that isn’t in the remake. Now I wish they would just release the 1997 on DVD already!

This list seemed shorter in my head, but I was only behind by 2 or 3 episodes for each of them except Castle and Harper’s Island. But sadly, I am no where near catching up with all my shows. I’m already a season and a half behind for Ugly Betty, Heroes, Life, Stargate: Atlantis, Dirty Sexy Money, Dexter, Tudors and more, luckily for me, half of those shows are cancelled. And the summer season is starting. Ack!
