That's awesome that you got to deliver your message right to her face. I totally dig the rhinestone peace sign. We're having an open mic night for peace here at school and a nice lady is coming to show us how to make peace dove ornaments.

I talked to Senator Williams office today to make sure he isn't some sort of anti-choice moron and he isn't so that means I will send in my application and get an interview.

PS we almost have the same hair cut.

Thanks! I'm just so elated that I got to do it. I learned a lot from stalking rock bands in the 80's ;-)

Good luck working with Senator Williams!

ps - man, I look like crap in those pics! Seriously, I'm cuter in real life. At least I think I am. Sigh.

haha I know you're hot.

I just got my senior portrait proofs back (which my mother made me get and insists on buying) and I look like Shrek in them. I have to take 400 pictures of myself before I find one that looks decent- I just don't photograph well.

I made peace cookies last night! I'm giving a presentation today on women's peace activism and LGBT activism so I have rainbow sprinkle cookies and iced peace sign sugar cookies. I'm so lame.

Are you kidding? I think people are going to love your cookies! I have found that people (especially liberals) are really getting into homemade stuff like cookies.

I feel your pain on the photographs. Sigh. I have precious few wedding pictures I'm actually willing to show anyone. The camera hates me. I don't know what we can do to reconcile...

oh man, if liberals weren't poor I'd totally go into the peace cookie business. They were a HUGE hit. They were mighty tasty too. Although, I am wishing for baking sheets and a rolling pin for x-mas because I have one round pizza sheet and I made 6 dozen cookies with that and two spoons.

Also, I want to eat Indian food every day of my life and not care that it will make me fat. I'm already fat, so I'm just gonna keep eatin'.

Although, I am considering a fast/detox and then going organic. I am coming to realize that I am worth the extra few bucks for pesticide and preservative free food. Any thoughts?
