A Pennsylvania federal district court ruled this week that it is unconstitutional to teach the controversial "Intelligent Design" (ID) theory of human development in public schools. So Justice Sandra Day O'Connor unexpectedly retired from the U.S. Supreme Court a few days ago. This brings to mind some scary things that could happen, depending on who gets appointed to the new vacancy. Seeing who's currently in the White House, this does not bode well.
