Sorry for the lolcat speak, but the medication is called Propranolol ;).
It's used for a whole range of medical reasons, in my case "to calm people who are anxious or worried". I'm guessing it will generally slow my heart beat and breathing, given one of the warnings is about not taking it if you already have those conditions.
Now the fun of seeing what side effects I get out of:

Now the fun of seeing what side effects I get out of:
- feeling of sickness
- cold hands and feet (be warned Katy ;)
- difficulty in sleeping (like I don't have that already at times)
- dizziness
- dry flaky skin
- general tiredness (this one would worry me, given I came off the Quetiapine due to its sedative effect being annoying)
- hair loss (oi, no! my hairline has receded slightly already and I don't want more of that!)
- mood changes (duh, I want some of this, but the good way of course)
- fainting
- pins and needles
- seeing/feeling things that are not there
- slow heart beat/rate
- stomach upsets
- visual disturbances
- wheezing
