By Dose Is Dumb
Translation: My nose is numb.
Well, it was right after the dentists this morning anyway. Thankfully it and my gum are starting to get sensation back now. This was just an initial checkup but the one tooth was in such a state that she decided to drill in, put some stuff in it (presumably anti-biotics) and a temporary filling until the REAL appointment to sort it out.
That will be a root canal. She actually explained what one of those was, which I'd never gotten around to asking or looking up before. For anyone else not in the know it means they totally drill out the root(s), leaving the canal clear, and then the filling goes all the way in there. This means no root to get infected any more but also a weaker tooth. So, that'll be fun on 10th September then.
In better news Maria has found some free time in her busy schedule and thus should be coming to visit on Friday through to early Saturday :).
