More DWP Insanity
So, I finally get myself to phone for an appointment with Income Support. I start trying to phone about 20 seconds after 10:00:00 rolls over. It takes 8 minutes of redialling to get through, only to be told that if I want an appointment for tomorrow or Thursday I have to phone on that day.
I'm going to make a not so wild guess that this policy is because it means they always meet targets of having appointments within 24 hours of a 'customer' making one.
Idiots.
So, time for round 4 tomorrow, as I just noticed the letter, despite saying 'ASAP' on the box where they specified what they needed, and NOT ticking the box next to the following bit, does actually have a 'by' date of 17th November, i.e. Friday this week.
The reason I can't go today is I need to go with Amanda to her hospital appointment instead.
