Some people from that Bethany church came in yesterday to work. For those who don't know, they are responsible for those 3 four story tall crosses right off the interstate. Simon, of course, was working the register and had a word with one of them. The conversation started with Simon asking about the guy's giant "Jesus" tattooed on his arm, and went from there. Exact dialogue is sketchy, but here's the gist.
Simon: So, how about those giant crosses yall have?
Dudeman: Yea, we're really proud of them.
Simon: Must have cost a lot of money, huh?
Dudeman: Yea, they did.
Simon: You probably could've used that money on something better, like feeding the poor, don't you think?
Dudeman: Well, I...uh...
Simon: Don't you think that's what Jesus would've wanted?
Dudeman: Uh...
