"Um..." Kyle had to think this over and it took several minutes as his brain worked through all of the memories until he found one solid place. A state had been on the barcode at the back page of a porn magazine Josh had given him. Smiling he looked up at Lana.

"New Jersey!"

"Oh," Lana replied, surprised yet again in a short span of time. "You came a long way then. Did you like it there?" She stuck her hands in her pockets, since she felt slightly silly to have them just hanging there. She shrugged a little, then decided to offer some information about herself. "I'm from Kansas actually. That's a state in the midwestern United States."

"It's nice." Kyle said, and turned his head to look at her as she continued to speak. "Kansas?" He pondered this for a while and then nodded and took her word for it. Sounded true enough.

"So, where are we going again?" He then asked of her, two or three minutes later after more silent walking. Kyle was the silent type, though he could be talkative and fun if needed, it just didn't seem the time.

Lana had been looking at the sidewalk, thinking carefully about what was going on. She had a boy that she had just met coming back to her apartment to stay with her. It was almost as if she had a child that needed to be taken care of with her. Did she have enough money? Would she do good enough? All were questions that plagued her mind at the moment.

"We're going back to my apartment on Candlestick Maker Street," she told him, as they turned onto Meadowwood Avenue. "It's a street that branches off of this one - Meadowwood Avenue. Candlestick Maker is in an area called the residential area. There are other streets there too. Baker, Butcher, and Rub-a-Dub. Candlestick Maker is closest one to us right now. Now, beyond the residential area is the Aternaville Hills are located. They're for the richer people living here."

"And we're not rich?" Kyle asked looking at her with a quirky half smile. "The Tragers weren't either, they said they didn't always half enough money and found themselves in hard spots." He told Lana, still smiling.

Lana shook her head smiling. "No, we're not rich. Not at all. I haven't started college yet, so I can't get a job that will pay a lot of money." She tilted her head in the direction of the coffee shop. "It's a good job, just not one I'm willing to stay with for the rest of my life."

"So the Tragers were who you lived with before?"

"Yes." Kyle said with a nod. "I did. Nicole and Steve, Lori and Josh." He told her with a small sigh. He'd done so much back there, he'd even fallen in love and had his heart broken all at once. He'd gone to parties, learned about porn and "Bridget", had his first... well that was for another time.

"Just from the way you talk about them they seem nice," Lana said with a smile. "Here we are." She pointed to the sign that said Candlestick Maker as they turned onto the street. "I live in the Aternaville Apartments, which are down the street slightly."

Lana pointed her finger to a tall building in the distance. "You see that? It's my apartment building."

Kyle opened his mouth and nodded at her in an "oh, yes, I see it" way. Looking at her he closed his mouth but opened it again to speak. "Why don't you have a... car?" He asked, having to pause and look for the world. He was curious, seeing as both Nicole and Steve had cars to drive the three of "them" (meaning himself, Josh, and Lori) around. "Wouldn't it be easier to get one?"

"I used to," Lana answered, "back in Smallville where I used to live. But I sold it when I got to Aternaville for some money to help pay off the apartment." As they neared her apartment building, Lana shook her head. "No, not really. It's surprisingly easy to get around in this city."

After they reached the Aternaville Apartments, Lana walked up a flight of stairs and toward her apartment. "This is it," she said, after opening the door to apartment number thirty six. "It's pretty spacious. The living room is over there." She pointed to where a couch and two chairs sat, along with a television set. "And here's the kitchen area." It was opposite side of the living room.

Kyle nodded and looked to the living room, then the kitchen, as she offered up the information. "It is nice." He commented, hand running over things as he passed them in walking. It wasn't like back home, but it was a nice little place. If Kyle knew more about Lana, he would say this is something he expected of her.

"Now," she began, leading him down the hallway, "this is the guest bedroom and this is the guest bathroom." The bedroom was on the left side of the hall, while the bathroom was on the right. "Down here," she continued, "is where my bedroom and bathroom are located." Now that she was going to have a male living with her, Lana was very glad there there were two separated bathrooms. "That's pretty much it." She shrugged with a smile, hooking her thumbs into her belt loops. "Do you want to wash up or something? Are you hungry?"

"I feel dirty." Kyle said and looked down at his chest. Though the nasty shirt had been long gone, he still felt gross. "I will shower, then eat." With that he smiled. "Is that good?" He was curious, brows raised with that kind smile on his face. He was so excited to have a place to stay, and he had a bathroom to himself which mean a bathtub!

Lana nodded. "Of course, help yourself." She gestured to the bathroom, then furrowed her brows. "I don't have anything for you to change into, though. Would you like me to wash those things with you shower?"

ooc: Sorry about posting on this name, I'm in a bit of a hurry but if you get back to me fast enough I should be on Kyle's name. SORRY!

Kyle nodded at her with a smile. "Yes, please." He said as he pulled off his shirt again. As his body stretched and his jeans fell around his waist. Low and behold, there was no bellybutton. He didn't seem phased in the slightest, but most people were. After taking off his shirt, holding it on his pinkie and ring finger, he proceeded towards his jeans. He hadn't gotten to the "don't take off your clothes" lesson back home. Kyle just never had the need to take it all off.

(( Don't worry about it. ^^ ))

Lana took Kyle's shirt, mainly as just a normal reaction to him handing it to her. Her eyes were fixed on his stomach, though, where there was no bellybutton. "Kyle?" She bit her lip. "Why don't you have a bellybutton?"

"No!" Lana exclaimed as she turned her head away, blushing slightly as he was starting to take off his jeans. "Go in the bathroom to take off your jeans please, then place them outside the door." She really had no urge to see any male parts today.
