Booth sat himself at a table, not waiting for anyone of the hostess to seat him. He made his way to the back of the eatery and faced the front, always alert. As one of the waitresses came over and handed the suited in typical agent Booth attire patron his menu, Booth couldn't help but a flirtatious smile the woman's way. The sentiment was returned. "Still got it." He mumbled to himself and lifted the menu to eye level, going over the types of burgers the place had.
He'd been out scooping the town on foot. The only way he could get a real feel for the town and because he knew the nice weather the town was having wasn't going to last much longer as winter crept closer.
With his stomach letting out a growl of hunger, Booth decided on the Southwestern style burger. Complete with ranchero dressing, bacon, lettuce, tomato, Cheddar cheese and avocado. Having now given the waitress his order and having been handed his cup of coffee, the hungry special agent pulled out his newspaper, unfolded it and started to read. If anything, this town definitely wasn't lacking for stories.
