Who: Lorne and Clarice
What: The rainbow kids had to meet sometime!
When: Early afternoon of Lorne's 3rd day here
Where: The bakery

Lorne couldn't help but feel more confident in his choice of coming to Canada. Meeting Ianto and having dinner with Buffy made him more self assured. Sure, there was the whole running-away-from-friends issue, but he had a feeling that he had done what he could in Los Angeles. There was nothing else that Lorne could contribute, as he fought about as ruggedly as he dressed. Which was not rugged. At all. So, rather than be a burden there, the Powers seemed to have found another place for him. Not too shabby at all, if he said so himself. And he did! The weather was pleasant, growing a bit brisk because of the month but still a little warm for his jacket. So that had been left at the hotel room. So far, there hadn't been any remarks on his appearance..none that had him running for the hills anyway..and so he was much more inclined to forgo the hat as well. Creme coloured trousers and a bright blue long button down was his wardrobe of choice today as he walked along the streets to get to know the odd little town.

Oo! A bakery. Wonder if they had any of those sweet little tea sandwiches. Or an italian soda, maybe. Or a piece of pie. Pie sounded nice. That decision made, the green not-so-meanie started his jaunt over. Frank Sinatra had been traded today for a Buble song passing Lorne's lips. Michael Buble was so cute, Lorne wanted to pinch his cheeks. And boy had a crooner's voice that was stellar. Still humming, he gently swung open the door and took a peek around.

If homeyness had a bakery, it'd be this one. That was the thought he was having as he stepped up to the counter and surveyed the pastries.
