The front door to the apartment opened softly, but not so softly that Amy couldn't hear it from the next room. What was odd was, it didn't... close right away. It sounded like Rory was taking a considerable amount of time getting himself through the door. And, better yet... was he talking to himself? Not that he didn't occasionally mutter things, but this sounded almost like a one-sided conversation, a steady stream of talking... but to whom?
Finally, the door closed. "Amy?" he called.
