What: ARRIVAL
When: After sunset, after the clothing stores have closed for the night.
Where: Main street, by the stores
Rating: Lowish?

It was just like all the other times. Alba felt herself slipping away. She'd been in her pajamas getting ready for bed. "MOM!" she yelled, running into the room with Clare. It was habit for her to do. Clare got really worried when she disappeared without any say so. It wasn't as if Alba had complete control over it, but it worried her mom. After her dad died, she tried her best not to worry her mother when she didn't have to.

"Alba, you really needed to be in bed ten minutes ago."

"No, Mom it's happening."

Clare jumped up, startled. It had been a while. "Sing, Alba."

Alba started on Somewhere Over the Rainbow, keeping her eyes trained on her mother. It wasn't working. Alba shook her head, not stopping. She closed her eyes, concentrating more on what her doctor had told her. She thought of her father as she kept singing. No, it wasn't working. Clare's hands were on Alba's shoulders, trying to will her not to leave, but it didn't work. Soon, all that was left was a pile of pajamas that fell on top of some slippers.

When Alba landed, she was definitely cold. It wasn't snowing yet, that was good. It was still probably autumn, but without her clothes, she was cold. She took a quick look around, glad she'd arrived not in the broad daylight. That took a lot of explaining. Running across the street to the closed shops, she found one that looked like it had clothes in it. After a few seconds, she found the door and the alarm. She wasn't able to fully disable the alarm, it was a bit more high tech than she'd encountered, but she picked the lock quickly enough. Running into the store, she quickly found the kids section and grabbed clothes. The alarm started going off, and she didn't have time to get shoes on as she changed. She wasn't sure how fast the police or whoever were going to get here, so she ran out of the store, happy that it wasn't the middle of a city and the ground was relatively free of dangers. Brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, Alba was hit with a wave of panic followed by one of adventure. She hadn't been here before. It wasn't Chicago, it wasn't Ann Arbor. Nowhere that seemed to have her parents anywhere in sight. She had no clue when she was, but if the security was any indication, probably a little ways into the future. Not too much, but enough to be frustrating. So the twelve year old walked around town in pants that were probably wrong for the weather (having grabbed capris instead of jeans) and a shirt that was too warm for it. It was fine. She walked through the town slowly, as if she knew where she were going, trying to find a place to stay for the night that was warm and safe and out of the way.

Hopefully a twelve year old wandering around this town without shoes wasn't the most abnormal thing they'd seen.
