Who: Bod and Rose
What: Checking up on someone who (he fears) has been sitting at home alone on a holiday.
Where: The mansion.
When: Sometime on Christmas, assuming he has time between freaking out and being a hamster
Status: closed, incomplete.
Bod stood outside of the mansion and looked up at it. He'd only been there once before, and he scarcely remembered the experience, having drugged himself up pretty good with Moira's sleeping potion. And, after being at Nokoru's house, it was a wonder that anything could seem large in comparison, but somehow, large structures-- and large homes in particular-- seemed very intimidating to him. But he wasn't going to let anything deter him from his current mission-- especially not the size of the house.
He'd been struck with the realization last night, as he sat at Lulu's. Rose's post had said that everyone had left, but... but Jack was there last night, and if he was there, then who was with Rose? He was rather worried that she was going to spend the holiday alone in this giant house, with no one to keep her company. And while he had certainly spent holidays like that, now and then, he hadn't been raised to really celebrate them, so he hadn't known the difference. But Rose had had a normal upbringing, and he assumed it included holidays.
So he was worried. And that was why he was ringing her doorbell. He'd attempted to call, but then realized that he didn't have her number, which was stupid, because why have a phone if you don't have any numbers to call people with? So now he was dropping in unannounced. She might still be asleep. Stranger things had happened...
